FOR ENERGY OPTIMIZATION
Our portfolio of energy solutions includes the following applications for the use of natural gas, CNG/LNG and biogas/biomethane for high energy efficiency and, as far as possible, the maximum valorized use of this clean and cheap fuels for big or small industries, and the tertiary sector.

Combined heat and power production (cogeneration) in Medium and/or Small Industry
Heat and Power cogeneration in Medium and/or Small Industry that will cover their needs with the maximum overall energy efficiency that can be achieved. The electricity produced can either be used for own use, i.e. to cover the energy needs of the producer (individual or business), or for sale to the grid, or for a combination of both (own use and sale of the electricity excess).
The simultaneous production of heat can be used either in the form of high-quality steam, or in the form of hot water or hot air.

Combined heat and power generation for special climate preservation
Heat and Power cogeneration to preserve a special climate (with carbon dioxide production and channeling) in greenhouses, for the development and production of qualitatively upgraded agricultural products and/or flowers.

Biogas/Biomethane production
Biogas production in digesters with anaerobic digestion technology using animal and plant by-products or wastewater as raw material, for its subsequent use either for the production of electricity and/or heat or its enrichment and upgrade to biomethane for injecting it into the local natural gas distribution network.

Production of heat and cooling
Production of heat and cooling from special air conditioning units for apartment buildings (blocks of flats, compact and unified public or private office buildings or other activities).
Heat production in the form of hot water or steam and/or tri-generation
Heat production in the form of hot water or steam for use in industries, hospital units, hotel units or sports centers (swimming pools, gyms).
Tri-generation of energy (electricity, heat and cooling-air conditioning) mainly in hospital and/or hotel units of continuous operation.

Consulting Services and Technical Support
High-level consulting services are provided related to the energy cost/benefit analysis depending on the consumption, seasonality and operational load of the facilities that use natural gas or biogas as a primary form of energy. Gazil Hellas has developed a Computational Modeling Tool simulating techno-economic results in order to find the optimum solutions and proposals, elaborating on the detailed analysis of energy needs of a consumer in electricity, heat and/or cooling. These solutions apply in small, medium and large industrial units and/or enterprises of the tertiary-commercial sector, such as hospitals, hotels, sports, school and shopping centers or even large residential complexes.
Example: Investment in power and heat cogeneration
The range of possibilities that cogeneration technologies provide us with is great; however, the success of its use is not always a given. Before the final decision on such an investment, comprehensive technical and economic studies need to be elaborated. Moreover, parameters such as the general economic environment, macroeconomic data and assumptions, licensing and subsidy procedures, estimated amortization time and the possibility of technical during the system’s operation play an equally important role in the evaluation of an investment proposal.
Gazil Hellas with its network of partners, undertakes to conduct step by step all the technical studies of the installations and facilities with the aim to the penetration of natural gas for the needs of each customer upon demand.
